Hi! I'm Thommy, a singer-songwriter based in the UK. I was previously a child actor and performed in four West End shows, including musicals like Les Misérables and Mrs Doubtfire. I started singing at a very young age and loved to write "songs" (though I called them songs—many were quite literally about Venezuela and bacon) with my dad, always clutching a £12 guitar that I was never seen without.
At the age of nine, I gave my entire extended family and some friends an album of nine songs. I don't think anyone was particularly impressed, as the songs were all very simple—definitely not what you'd expect to hear on the radio or hear playing in a bookstore. Nevertheless, I never stopped loving to write music and continued to pursue it.
Now that I'm older, the production of my music - and the actual songwriting - has thankfully improved, and I've shared more and more of it with my family and friends. That experience of giving the first works that I was actually proud of was the first moment I realised my music might have the potential to one day be put forward to a producer and developed properly. So, maybe someday, when you're walking around a supermarket and hear my voice and music coming from the speakers, you might even remember visiting this rather small site and reading this rather long message.
Just maybe.
